Rum & Reggae Chester – Prohibited items policy

To keep everyone safe and ensure smooth entry for all guests, please read the following list of items that cannot be brought into the festival site.

Prohibited Items (Not Allowed on Site)

The following items are strictly NOT permitted:

• Alcohol (of any kind)

• Glass bottles, jars or containers

• Illegal substances or drugs

• Weapons or sharp objects

• Fireworks or flares

• BBQs, stoves, or open flames

• Drones

• Professional audio/video recording equipment

• Large parasols, gazebos, tents, or structures

• Large hard coolers or picnic hampers

• Air horns or megaphones

• Laser pointers

• Pets (except registered assistance dogs)

• Anything that may pose a safety risk or disrupt the event

Security staff may refuse any item they consider unsafe or unsuitable.

✔ Allowed Items (What You CAN Bring)

To keep you comfortable during the festival, you may bring:

• Small bags (subject to search)

• Blankets or picnic rugs

• Empty reusable water bottles (can be filled on site)

• Personal medication

• Sunscreen, hats & weather-appropriate clothing

• Small umbrellas (not large or pointed)

• Camping chairs

No outside food or drink is allowed unless required for medical reasons.

🔍 Bag Searches

All bags will be searched upon entry.
To keep queues moving:

• Bring a small bag only

• Avoid unnecessary items

• Have your bag open and ready for inspection

Anyone refusing a search will be denied entry.

Registered assistance dogs are welcome.
Please contact us before the event if you need support.

These rules are in place to ensure a safe, enjoyable festival for everyone.
Any prohibited items found at the gate will be confiscated and not returned.
